I had used this company for two previous moves over the years, but they were known as "Crofutt & Smith." Fantastic experience. Since locally, they are the same people under new ownership, I decided to go with Daniel's Moving. The movers were good guys, but when they drove a mere 5 miles away to my new house, they failed to slow down at the speed dips in my new subdivision. They went so fast, they admitted that they actually hit their heads on the roof of their truck's cab...and they heart something shatter and smash in the truck. Sure enough, my kid's mirror was completely destroyed and my wife's priceless, family heirloom buffet (handcarved from Germany) was damaged - the entire right leg section was in pieces.
I have moved many times in my lifetime and have to say that Daniels Moving was my best experience. My salesman, Mike was very professional and the move went smoothly. I recommend this company to anyone moving in the near future
Im in the military and have been moved a few times by moving companies and some people care some dont. Daniel's moving and storage company guys who moved my stuff in did a great job. They were professional friendly and helped me move some stuff into a truck for storage which they didn't have to do. They had to move my stuff up 2 flights of narrow stairs and did not complain at all. They didnt even look like they wanted to. I know its easy to complain about people moving your stuff and you are paying good money for them to do it but not all companies care like i felt like they did. The St. Louis crew is horrible. Many of our items were damaged beyond repair. There are so many things we can not locate, neither can Daniels. My 40 year old high school class ring is just one of our possessions that has never been found. I suggest everyone think twice before allowing Daniels to handle your move.

The Daniel's staff was helpful, patient, professional, organized, careful and efficient every step of the way -- from initial bid to final delivery. JD is the best sales rep you could ask for: experienced and not afraid to be honest or to pitch in. Red and his truck crew arrived the morning of our move with energy and humor. That group of guys made a stressful, hard day easier because of their work ethic and great attitudes. They worked their tails off and smiled the entire time. Not one single thing was broken or mishandled when we received it on the other end of our move. We couldn't have asked for more.
