For some reason no one comes there and the stores are closing. So it's not really a mall anymore just a few big stores. Ross, Burlington and a few others. But I still go there like every week cuz it's the closest to where I live.
Very nice place. Theaters are great and often have some obscure movies as well as standards. Food court shops are all shut down and there are no other operating restaurants in the mall (otherwise I would have given it 5 stars). There is an ice rink.
I understand why the dirty and decrepit 30 year old small Mall from my hometown went belly-up a decade ago but this place... the sheer size of it and how nice and well-kept it is just heightens the eerie feeling you get when you walk through it and don't run into one another soul.
-Carpeted sections so it's lighter on your feet
This is a sad story. This mall is the best or should have been the best but right now is just a dead Mall.
There's a nice Regal theater with IMAX... a Hot Topic store... but with a completely empty food court and only a handful of other store still clinging on... I left after exploring just half of the building.
-Comfortable seating options
I don't know a damn thing about real estate or zoning and running a business but even I would have known better than to build a mall here in the seemingly industrial side of town with nothing but warehouses surrounding it. I feel as if you could somehow transplant the entire place to the opposite side of town it would revive itself.
It's like an extremely nice Mall, but as if it were located in Chernobyl.
For that purpose, this mall provides a lot of luxury amenities...
My best guess is that it is just a very bad location for a mall to attract customers and perhaps the rent was too high... because it is a very nice mall that looked like it was the place to be just moments before you walked in. Just another mall I know of now that only gets foot traffic because of the movie theater still attached to it.
It's a wonderful place to walk in circles talking to yourself.
There are a ton of memories here for a ton of people including myself, but there's not really much of an opportunity to make any new ones. The mall is mostly vacant with only a few anchor stores, an ice rink, a skate park and a movie theater remaining. The mall is colorful and at one time was very exciting, but now it is empty and sad.
-Most stores are closed so it's usually quiet and nobody is ever IN THE WAY.
A very nice... recently built... big... and completely vacant building...
